Senior C++ Developer

Due to growth in one of our key clients, we are delighted to have the chance to look to recruit a C++ Developer to our team.

This role is based onsite, at our client in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

Due to the security requirements of the role, you will need to attend our client site as required and this could be 5 days a week, every week. However, where the opportunity to work from home that meets our clients requirements exists, we will look to actively endorse it.

Required Expertise

Must have:

• Be a proficient C++ Developer who is confident to be seen as a subject matter expert in the field.
• Modern C++ development - C++11/C++14/C++17/C++20

Great to have:

• Network focused software development experience
• Internet protocols eg IP/TCP/UDP
• Internet security protocols
• Protocol analytic tools eg Wireshark
• Containers - Kubernetes / Docker

We’ll also be keen to hear about:

• C++ unit testing framework eg GTEST / GMOCK
• BASH Scripting, Python
• GCC compiler
• GIT
• Jenkins
• AWS

Note: Due to the security requirements for this role, you must also have current DV clearance.

£50-90k based on experience
